City slips
Candidates are required to visit the official website of the UGC NTA (ugcnet.nta.ac.in) for downloading City Intimation slip, which is likely to be released this week by the National Testing Agency (NTA).Candidates can check and download the slip from home page of the official website.
Admit card
Admit card will be released by the NTA two or three days before the examination. The UGC NET Examination will start on 25th June and end on 29th June. The examination will be conducted in two shifts each day. The first shift will start from 9 am to 12 pm and the second shift will start from 3 pm to 6 pm.
UGC NET is conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for award of JRF and appointment as Assistant Professor, appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D., admission to Ph.D only in Indian universities and colleges.
The candidate qualifying the UGC NET under the appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D will not be considered for the award of JRF. They will be eligible for appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D only
The candidates qualifying under the admission to Ph. D only category will not be considered for the award of JRF and /or appointment as Assistant Professor. They will be eligible for admission to Ph.D only.
