Terrorist attack in Pahalgam (22 April 2025) Tourists sustained injuries following a terror attack in Pahalgam and Anantnag districts of Jammu and Kashmir (India). ET online reported citing Reuters , hospital authorities and police sources that at least 5 have been dead and 12 injured.  Union Minister for Road, Transport and Highways Nithin Gadkari ensured implementation of new toll system (NTS) soon.He said that the toll rates will be reduced in India following the implementation of the new toll system.                        According to him the proposed toll system will transform the entire toll system in India giving relief to the laity and common man.The announcement in this regard will be made soon . Current toll rates will be reduced as part of the proposed new system making it more consumer friendly.Meanwhile the Minister said toll system are necessary for funding India's expanding road infrastructure.
