  Under Operation Sindhu mission India removed more than 4000 Indian citizens from Iran and Israel in the midle of ongoing conflict between the two countries. India made 19 special flight service on June 18 to bring its citizens from the two countries to India, according to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Post on 'X' by Official Spokesperson  As per the latest disclosure by MEA Spokesperson on 'X' dated June 26,2025 a new batch of 173 Indian citizens evacuated from Iran and a flight from Armenian capital Yerevan, carrying 173 Indian citizens reached Delhi late night 22.30 hrs on 26 June 2025. The world community have expressed concerns over the Iranian Parliament's approval to close the Strait of Hormuz after US force carried out strike on three Iranian nuclear sites of Natanz, Isfahan and Fordow. Madras High Court's decision that a woman does not lose her individuality after marriage and she has always the full legal right to apply for a passport without her husband's permission or Signature. The Court observed that the practice of insisting on a husband's permission to apply for a passport does not augur well for a society striving for women's emancipation and is nothing short of male supermascism.   Iran's Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant (FFE) is under heavy security in the light of recent Israel strike at Fordow triggered on 13 June 2025 Friday. The Fordow is the uranium enrichment site of Iran. The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) extended the due date for filing income tax return (ITR) to September 15, 2025, originally it was due on July 31, 2025 for the FY 2024-25 (AY 2025-26) in India. It means assessees can  file the ITR  within September 15,2025 without incurring penalties and interest. Belated ITR If any assessee misses the ITR submitting date they can file a belated return by December 31,2025. However, assessees filing belated ITR is liable to pay penalties and interest.
