Iran's Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant (FFE) is under heavy security in the light of recent Israel strike at Fordow triggered on 13 June 2025 Friday. The Fordow is the uranium enrichment site of Iran. The words of Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Mr. Yechiel Leiter that "the entire operation .......really has to be completed with the elimination of Fordow" proves Israel's intention to dismantle Iran's uranium enrichment program before it reaches weaponization capability. Uranium enrichment needs tight international control for non-proliferation. Even though the Israel targeted Fordow during the Friday attack the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) says no damage was reported at Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant (FFE).
At present Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant (FFE) is built into a mountain and deep underground is inaccessible to Israel force since the Israel lacks the huge bunker busters and strategic bombers required to eliminate the Fordow facility. But the U.S. FORCES has huge bunker busters and strategic bombers to carry out such operation.
Therefore, the Israel administration will require the U.S. assistance to destroy Fordow, and Israel administration hopes the U.S. finally decides to join to assist Israel to eliminate Fordow. The U.S PRESIDENT Donald Trump even opined that he would do so, if necessary, in a conversation with Israeli counterpart. However White House Authorities denied the airing of such news and revealed that the U.S. currently has no intention of getting directly involved into the conflict. It means the picture of current situation may change at any point of time.
